Life with Cloth Diapers

This moment won’t come again.
Let touch be part of everyday life.

Cloth diapers are only used for a brief moment in a child’s life.
Each one becomes time spent face-to-face with your baby.

Use them alongside disposable diapers, and only as much as feels right.
Every family can find the way that works best for them.

How to Care for Cloth Diapers

Pre-Wash

Water-prepping refers to rinsing a fabric before use to remove sizing or other finishes.
It is usually done with water only, without detergent.

However, Papakoso cloth diapers, sarashi cotton, and dobby-woven bolts do not contain sizing or fluorescent agents, so they can be used without water-prepping.

Washing

If solid waste is present, rinse the diaper under running water in the toilet bowl before soaking.
Place the rinsed diaper in the soaking solution.

For the soaking time, please follow the guidelines indicated on your detergent.

After soaking, place the diapers in the washing machine and rinse with plenty of water.
Once rinsing is finished, spin dry thoroughly and hang to dry.

Please replace the soaking solution each time and do not reuse it.
