Papakoso's thoughts
Papakoso was born from everyday parenting.
It began with a small question:
“How can this be easier?”
When carrying a child feels tiring.
When bags and belongings get in the way.
When someone seems to be quietly pushing themselves.
We wanted to make tools that give families
more moments without strain —
for both parents and children.
Because everyday life goes on,
without ceremony, and without pause.
So things should feel natural.
Something everyone in the family can be part of.
Something that quietly blends into daily life.
This is how we create at Papakoso.

Three Things We Value.

Putting family time first.
Time spent raising a child is irreplaceable for any family.
We value that time — and hope it can flow a little more gently,
a little more comfortably, every day.

A gentle shape for everyday life.
It’s not only about usability or appearance,
but about how it feels to handle,
and how it settles into everyday life.
We keep exploring shapes
that quietly stay close to daily living.

Small ideas that lead to smiles.
When no one has to push themselves,
and when the burden doesn’t fall on just one person —
we believe those small considerations
collectively lead to a happier family life.
Before You Carry Your Baby.

1.Support the hips and allow the legs to open naturally.
Aim for a position where the knees sit slightly higher than the hips.
2.Keep your baby close enough to see their face and kiss their head.
Not too low — at a height where you can easily keep an eye on your baby.
3.Support your baby at the center of your body without strain.
If you feel discomfort in your shoulders or lower back, make small adjustments.
What Is the SG Mark?
The SG Mark indicates that the safety of a product has been evaluated
by an independent third-party organization based on defined standards.
At Papakoso, we value products that can be used with confidence in everyday life.
Depending on the characteristics and intended use of each item,
we carry out the necessary testing and safety measures.

The SG Mark indicates that a product meets established standards
for structure, strength, and safety during use.
For baby carriers, testing and evaluations are carried out
based on expected usage scenarios.
For more details about the SG Mark, please refer to the website of the Japan Product Safety Association.
At Papakoso, two products have obtained SG Mark certification:
the “Papa Bag — Baby Carry Model + SG” and the
“Pocketable Baby Carrier — Papadakko SG.”
